Let’s get ready to rumble, Saudi Arabia. Rumble in Riyadh welcomes boxers Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou, who will face off in a fight dubbed Knockout Chaos. The 10-round boxing match will take place on Friday, 8 March at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia’s Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, confirmed the event on 15 January. Both boxers have fought the Kingdom before – Antony was part of a fight in Day of Reckoning, and Francis was part of a fight that opened Riyadh Season. Plus, both fighters are ranked in the World Boxing Council’s top ten.
Antony is from Watford, England. The British boxer has held the World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organisation titles. Deontay is from Alabama, United States. He made history when he was the first American to become a world heavyweight champion since 2007.
Francis Ngannou is a Cameroonian-French mixed martial artist and boxer. He is from Batie, Cameroon, and is signed to the Professional Fighters League. He has competed in the heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and was the UFC Heavyweight Champion.
Knockout Chaos tickets went on sale on 6 February via webook.com. Tickets for the Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou fight start at SAR 56 for grandstand (G5) access and go up to SAR 1,200 for diamond. The fight will also be screened live on dazn.com.

The Battle of the Baddest boxing match took place in Boulevard Hall Stadium in Riyadh on 28 October 2023 and hit headlines around the world. The event welcomed footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, boxer Conor McGregor, Bollywood star Salman Khan, rapper Eminem, and rapper and producer Kanye West.
